TENERIFE. La Laguna inaugura un parque de calistenia MEIN en el complejo deportivo de Taco.

The MEIN calisthenics team has inaugurated the new public training area in Tenerife. At the City Hall of La Laguna. At the sports complex; Taco Towers Park. In addition to the padel courts, basketball court and futsal field, among others, the City Council reported yesterday that they were some of the most demanded equipment in the municipality. The president of the Autonomous Sports Organism, Badel Albelo, assured that "this new calisthenics park offers the possibility of exercising for all levels and ages".
 
Thus, the adaptation of the facilities is one of the most noteworthy key points of this project, "which is not designed solely for professional sportsmen", added the councilor. This space for calisthenics has total dimensions of 12.75 x 10.20 meters, thus meeting the perimeter security conditions of each group of bars. The pavement placed corresponds to rubber with an approximate thickness of 5 to seven centimeters. The entire circuit is delimited with a concrete pavement, to surround the calisthenics area of ​​the rest of the sports complex.

The equipment in these facilities brings together a wide variety of elements for training, among which there are: triple parallel bars, double abdominal bench, vertical shoulder board, double horizontal ladder, eight pull-up bars, rings with chains and pull-up bars that have an incline. Likewise, two free bars have been incorporated to practice freestyle.
 
Soon, each area of ​​the facility will be provided with an outline and a QR code that will be linked to a tutorial where an instructor will explain how each exercise is performed and the different variations each one has.
